Backordering Items at the PortalUpdated a month ago

At Wargame Portal, we offer access to a wide range of products, including items that may not currently be in stock at our warehouse. These products are made available through our Backorder system, allowing customers to reserve items that we can request from our supplier network.

What Are Backorder Items?

Backorder items are products that are temporarily out of stock at Wargame Portal but may still be available through our suppliers. These items are clearly marked on the product page before purchase.

Orders containing backorder items are typically fulfilled within 7 to 10 business days, depending on supplier availability and fulfillment timelines. This timeframe is an estimate and may vary based on vendor conditions, restock timing, or availability changes.

If a backorder cannot be fulfilled within 15 business days, it will be canceled and refunded automatically. If a supplier confirms that an item is unavailable, that portion of your order will also be canceled and refunded. Any remaining items in your order will continue to be processed and shipped as normal.

Restock Schedule

Backorder restock requests are placed every Monday at or around 12 PM EST. Any backorder placed after that time will be included in the following week’s restock request.

How to Identify Backorder Items

Backorder items are identified on the product page in two places:

First, the product will display a purple inventory status ribbon that says “Backordered.”

Second, there will be text located under the Add to Cart button that states the estimated arrival timeframe and includes a link back to this Help Center article for more information.

These notices are shown before checkout so customers can review the item’s status and estimated arrival window before completing their purchase.
