Gaming at Wargame Portal — Community Rules & ExpectationsUpdated 6 days ago

We’re proud to offer a welcoming, safe, and fun environment for our local gaming community here at Wargame Portal Guntersville. To ensure everyone enjoys their time in our Game Hall, we ask all patrons to abide by the following guidelines:

Basic Expectations

  • Be Cordial & Pleasant — Good banter is encouraged, but hostility is not. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who acts rudely or becomes a disruption. We understand bad dice rolls happen, just laugh it off and move on.

  • Practice Good Hygiene — Players are expected to be sanitary. Messy clothing, noticeable bodily odor, or anti-social behavior will not be tolerated. The classic rule applies: No Shirt, No Service.

  • Clean Up After Yourself — Respect the space. Game Hall tables must be left clean and organized. Broken or misplaced terrain, trash left behind, or repeated messes will not be tolerated. We keep detailed notes and our security cameras monitor activity. First violations receive a warning; repeat offenders will be blacklisted and banned from the premises.

  • No Smoking or Vaping Indoors — There is absolutely no smoking or vaping allowed inside the building.

Facilities

Please note: There are no public restrooms inside our store. However, you’ll find very clean and well-maintained public restrooms just around the corner in the small park at the corner of Taylor St. and Gunter Ave. If it is an emergency, please inform the staff and we can do our best to accommodate in dire circumstances.

Community Safety & Courtesy

  • No Crash Outs — We get it, failing a critical role sucks, but just laugh about it and keep playing. If patrons become disruptive, angry or worse, they will be asked to step outside and calm down initially. If aggressive behavior continues, the patron will be asked to leave and potentially blacklisted and barred from reentry.

  • No Politics — Keep the conversations about the hobby! Political discussions in the Game Hall are not permitted — it's divisive, boring, and unnecessary. Take it to social media on your phone in the corner if you must.

  • Respect Local Laws & Our Staff — Should any patron become belligerent or refuse to follow these expectations, they will be asked to leave immediately. We have a good working relationship with the County Sheriff’s Office and local police, both of whom are right next door to us — you will be made to leave if needed.

A Space for Everyone — When We Respect Each Other

Our Game Hall exists for one simple reason: to give everyone a place to enjoy the games they love with friends old and new. By following these simple guidelines, you help us maintain a welcoming, clean, and fun space for all.

Thank you for doing your part to keep Wargame Portal a great place to game!
