Second-Wave Preorders are a unique offering at Wargame Portal that give you a second chance to reserve hot new releases—but they work a bit differently from our standard preorders. Here’s everything you need to know:

Timing

Second-Wave Preorders typically go live on our website between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM EST, usually on the same day as our main midnight preorder launch. These listings only appear if additional allocations or alternate sourcing options become available.

How They Work

Second-Wave Preorders are sourced differently from our primary allocations. Because of this, they:

• Arrive to us later than standard preorders. 

• Ship later than items ordered during our After Dark launch window, typically 3-5 business days after the release date. 

To keep things simple and transparent, these listings are treated as Special Orders in our system.

Pricing and Discounts

Second-Wave Preorders are priced at 10% off MSRP, the same as other Special Order items.
However, additional discounts do not apply, including:

• PortalPass+ subscriber pricing

• Military Discounts

• Other promotional or automatic discount codes

This is because of how these items are sourced and the tighter margins involved.

What to Expect

By purchasing a Second-Wave Preorder, you’re reserving an item that:

• Will be ordered on your behalf from our alternate supply channels

• May take additional processing time beyond standard preorders

• Is non-cancellable once the Special Order is placed with our supplier
