At Wargame Portal, we aim to make shipping as clear and straightforward as possible while ensuring your items are handled with care. Below you’ll find an overview of how our shipping process works and answers to common questions.
How We Ship
Flat Rate Shipping: We use a tiered flat-rate system. Economy is $10, Standard is $12.50, and Express is $35. Free Economy Shipping applies on orders over $75.
Carrier Selection: We ship using UPS and USPS, choosing the best cost-to-speed ratio for your order’s service level.
Processing Times: Orders typically ship within 1–3 business days, unless noted otherwise (e.g., preorders, backorders, or special orders).
Warehouse Schedule: Our warehouse is closed on weekends. Orders staged late Friday and Games Workshop preorders will not depart until the following business day, usually Monday. There are no exceptions to this.
Frequently Asked Questions
When will my order ship?
Most in-stock orders leave our facility within 1–3 business days. Preorders ship on or after the official release date, never before, per Games Workshop policy.
Why does my tracking say something different than expected?
Tracking updates from UPS/USPS are accurate. However, Shopify’s (our webhost) automated estimates are not and even after pleading with them to stop sending out bad estimates, refuse. Please rely on the carrier’s tracking information rather than the “estimated delivery” date shown in your order confirmation that is supplied by Shopify without or consent or knowledge.
My order was marked as shipped but I did not receive an email.
Shopify sometimes triggers shipment notifications too early when an order is staged (especially for preorders). This can falsely suggest that items are being delivered sooner than they actually are.
Watch for our actual email from Wargame Portal with tracking details.
Ignore automated notifications from the Shop App or Shopify’s estimate.
Orders staged for future shipment (like preorders) will not move until the proper date.
Why didn’t my order ship over the weekend?
Our warehouse is not operational on weekends. Orders packed on Friday and/or Games Workshop Preorders will not be picked up by carriers until the next business day.
Why is my tracking not updating?
Tracking may take up to 24 hours to show movement after pickup. If it remains unchanged for several business days, feel free to contact us.
