What do I do if my item(s) arrives damaged?Updated 2 months ago

If your order arrives damaged, and you opted into Route Shipping Protection, please submit your return request at claims.route.com and they will handle it from there, with usually rapid response and easy payouts.  

If you opted out of Route Shipping Protection, please be aware that we do not cover damages due to shipping unless Standard or Express shipping is chosen at checkout (up to $200). 

If an item is damaged within it's sealed pack and we determine it is not due to shipping (manufacturing defects, etc.), we will work with you to get a replacement item(s) or refund. Please contact our in-store chat or email [email protected] to start the return process. 


We have phased out Checkout+. If your order was made before 07/23/25 and arrives damaged, if you opted into shipping protection, please reach out to us for the next steps. Orders made after this date are offered Route as mentioned above.
